How Has PGDM In Marketing Enhanced My Career?

Marketing is one of the essential key functions that drive an organization from the first step to the ultimate success. Marketing is not just about advertising your products; it includes several other factors like research, development, advertising, promotions and product sales and so forth.
Well, after accomplishing my graduation in B.com, I soon decided to pursue my career in PGDM in Marketing and honestly it helped a lot in building my professional career. Let me show you how choosing PGDM in Marketing can enhance your professional life?

Learning- Whether you choose PGDM in marketing or any other field, learning is one of an essential elements that you will come across. PGDM in marketing helped me to learn everything especially in terms of customers, marketplace, industry, and products. After all, the success of your business depends on how you learn to manage these things properly. I soon learned to figure out my potential customers, analyse their needs and motives and offer things accordingly.

Offerings- You may have the best product invented with you but if you do not market or present properly in front of your potential customers then what is the point. The promotional element of any marketing strategy is the key to not just reach to your target audience but even make them believe that your product does possess some great value. So whether it’s about you or your product, you need to keep promoting to let people know that you exist first and you are worth their value second.

Interaction-Before pursuing PGDM in marketing, I was pretty shy didn’t love to interact with others. But after accomplishing my PGDM in marketing I soon realized that I can interact with others in an effective manner. And with the help of current technology such as direct mailing, personal selling, telemarketing, mobile marketing, email and social media, one can communicate well.

Service- Not all marketing efforts produce returns but those do contribute revenue, bottom-line profits, and services offering customer retention up to some extent. But I have learned these follow-up services, relationship monitoring helps in creating long term customer relationships.

Well I could write pages on my experiences but this is it for now! Keep watching this space to get a better perspective on the same.
